How do I add a contact?
Tap the + button on the dashboard, select a contact from your address book, choose a nudge frequency, and save. The App will remind you when it's time to reach out.
Why do I need to grant Contacts access?
Accompany imports names and contact details from your address book so you can set up reminders. Your contact data stays on your device and is never sent to any server.
How do notifications work?
Accompany schedules local notifications on your device based on the frequency you set for each contact. Make sure notifications are enabled in Settings > Accompany > Notifications.
What is the randomized timing option?
When enabled, your nudge times are varied within a time window you set (e.g., between 9 AM and 6 PM) so reminders feel more natural and less repetitive.
Can I snooze a reminder?
Yes. From the contact detail screen, tap Snooze and choose a duration — one hour, three hours, one day, three days, or one week.
What is Accompany Plus?
The free version supports up to 6 contacts. Accompany Plus unlocks unlimited contacts and birthday nudges for a monthly subscription. You can upgrade or restore purchases from the Settings screen.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel.
Will I lose my data if I delete the app?
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all contacts, reminders, and history.
